I'm still in!

Life has just taken a few twists and turns that have kept me, for the time being, from making enough progress on my stitchalong to bother posting a picture right now. But, I saw this quote by Johannes A. Gaertner on a friend's FB page today and just had to share.

"To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven."

Isn't that a comforting thought?

  2. I absolutely agree with you. Life does have it's ups and downs. I just stiched one block after not being able to for weeks. It felt good. We do what we can.

  4. Wonderful quote, and I couldn't agree more! Now, as for our samplers, I'm right there with you on that too! I got absolutely nothing done on it for the whole month of August!!.. Well, I finally got working on mine again, and will try to pace myself better between cross stitch and crochet! I really do love both!... Have a good night, and have a wonderful weekend! ~tina
